Tape

 

This series was the product of a project which explored using the humble object tape as inspiration for multiple works. After experimenting drawing with tape into the environment I noticed that used in this way it appeared to cordon off areas reminiscent of crime scenes. The series is set in area cordoned off that I would pass every evening on my way to and from work. I'd walk past it every night and calculate all the places bodies might be hidden or that my body might end up. In the photographs I explore these fears by acting out and responding to elements within the site.
